Teroldego Rotaliano
Area of origin: Piana Rotaliana, a corner of land that spreads from Rocchetta, the gorge of access to the Val di Non, up to the Adige river on what was the old bed of the Noce torrent, since 1854 diverted southwards.
From this a land similar to that of a hill, where, under a small layer of land, there are several meters, in various stratifications, of gravel, sand and shingle brought downriver from the stream of the Noce torrent when in the Piana Rotaliana it flowed without banks.
Grape variety: 100 % Teroldego
Vinification: in red with a good permanence on pressed marcs
Ageing: 12 months in large oak barrels
Refinement: 6 months in bottles
Longevity: 5 years in appropriate cellars
Colour: deep red rubin
Perfume: fruity with a scent of mulberry and raspberry
Taste: full and persistent, fairly tannic, full body, with a pleasent freshness
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
Recommended accompaniment: roasts and game, excellent with mature cheese
