After a very cold early spring, we've seen an exceptional increase in temperatures. That is, however, lasted very little, in fact the rains this weekend will bring a lowering of the mercury with snow down to 1400m. The growing season is slightly late, with a bud of a few days late from the mean. This, however, is positive in view of the pest, 2013 (which presumably will be shorter) and the displacement of harvesting period in the coldest time (late September / October) and optimal grape quality.
In this rainy Saturday we stay in the cellar for colmatare drums and barrels. Also an opportunity to organize the work of the next week, we will be engaged on two fronts: the pouring of wine 2012 (teroldego and rebo) in the cellar, in the vineyard and instead planting the cuttings instead of screws death during the winter .
This afternoon we will be sure to Trento Fairs for BeWine, the exhibition market of Winegrowers of Trentino that will last for the whole day tomorrow. An excellent opportunity to sample wine and food from Trentino excellent quality.
