Trentino Lagrein Kretzer

Area of origin: Piana Rotaliana, the same habitat as the Teroldego but also, with excellent results, on the foothills of Mezzocorona

Grape variety: 100% Lagrein

Vinification: in white, with short cold maceration on the mars, sufficient to acquire from the red skin the delicately rosé colour that characterises it.

The term KRETZER, synonym of rosé, derives from "KRETZE", a great wicker basket with which peasants drained the pressed grapes in order to obtain a rosé product Ageing: 3 months in steel

Refinement: 3 months in bottles

Longevity: 2 - 3 years in appropriate cellars

Colour: very delicate cherry colour

Flavour: fruity and elegant, very pleasant

Taste: fresh and slightly mineral

Serving temperature: 10 - 12°C

Recommended accompaniment: wine that goes well with fish dishes, cheese and first courses
